Access to the Venue
Shin Chitose Airport, gateway to Hokkaido, is about a 90-minute flight time away from Tokyo's Narita or Haneda International Airports. From Nagoya's Centrair it would also take about 100 minutes. For Osaka's Kansai International Airport, you can get there in about 120 minutes.
To get to Hokkaido University from Shin Chitose Airport, take the JR Rapid Airport and get off at Sapporo Station.
The main gate of the university is about a 10-minute walk from the station.
