All participants are invited to a get-together reception party to be held on the evening of 4 August 2008, at the Faculty House Trillium Restaurant ELM in Hokkaido University. The reception is free of charge for all registered participants of the conference.

The conference banquet will be held in the evening of 6 August 2008 at Genghis khan Hall, Sapporo Beer Garden.
Enjoy the wide variety of dishes cooked from fresh seasonal ingredients harvested in Hokkaido, and the unique atmosphere of this exceptional restaurant.

The registered participants are invited to an excursion trip to SHAKOTAN Peninsula and OTARU City on the last day of the conference. The excursion will give you a chance to visit the most renowned and popular sites of Hokkaido such as Cape Kamui, Mt. Tengu Ropeway, and Otaru Canal, and to try out the Hokkaido's specialty - Uni-don (Sea Urchin on rice. An alternative Japanese-style Seafood Grill option is also available.) Take this opportunity to enjoy the island's magnificent view and delicious cuisine!
*The coach for the excursion will leave Hokkaido University at around 13:30, and is planned to come back to Sapporo station by 22:00 (times are subject to change).
