The picture does not do the product justice. It is very sturdy and extremely easy to assemble. When the box arrives, it looks like it is in several pieces but when you take it out of the box, it unfolds and a couple of things swing into place and it is together. The legs have plastic protectors for the floors. Great product!!!

The bed frame is fashioned out of steel, has a nice black powdered covering on it to prevent damage to the metal, and has rubber feet to keep it in place and prevent scratches on the floor. Some of the joints are rather flimsy and are made out of plastic or very thin metal that a person could easily bend, However, due to the way it is constructed it hold s together very well, prevents squeaking, and can hold a lot of weight; my gues is a little over 500lbs, maybe more. Weight is evenly distributed across the whole bed due to the position of the legs as well. In terms of the price for this set and the structure of it you will not find a better price for it anywhere else...trust me I've looked and most are well over $200. So over all after a month of use I'd say this was a great buy.

I'm very satisified having purchased this bed-frame to replace an old oak bed-frame and box spring.
It was two seperate steel frames that need to be unfolded, then position the support brackets and tighten the wing-nuts. Align the two frames and secure with the three included brackets. Its very easy and doesn't take much time or effort. I was a little apprehensive about sleeping on it because I thought the hard steel frame would be felt through my mattress, but that was absolutely not the case. It provides a very firm sleeping surface but not anything uncomfortable, in fact I like the firmness more than what my previous box spring provided.
Pros-
1.Its very easy to assemble
2.The bed-frame can be folded up and easily moved
3.The steel construction seems to be quite strong
4.The bed-frame is 14 inches high so it provides alot of additional storage space under the bed
5.No need to worry about bed bugs infesting it because its all steel construction
6.It provides a firm surface for a good nights sleep
7.The steel frame can not be felt through the mattress
Cons-
1.If your used to sleeping with a box spring then you must adjust to losing 10 to 12 inches of height from your bed

This is awesome! The box wasn't heavy or cumbersome, and the frame was super easy to put together. No screws or anything! It took me all of five minutes to assemble.
And you don't need a box spring--what could be better?

This bed frame was VERY easy to put together, (the hardest part was moving the unopened box b/c it's about 45-50lbs), truely no tools required - a few twists and TADA a bed frame in 5-10 minutes! It is perfect for storage underneath and it is not squeaky or flimsy when mattress, people, dogs are on it. We chose to still use our boxspring w/the mattress so it's really big (I'm 6' and it comes to my hip). Definitely go for this if you want a solution to real-size box storage under the bed, sturdy solid frame at an affordable price that can be easily transported to your next home/apartment!!
